Acne the biggest problem of all

Acne is something we all dread, for girls its our biggest nightmare but no matter how much we try to keep our skin clean we all get acne sometime in our lives. So its better to know all the facts and figures about acne so we are prepared to deal with the issue then and there.

What is acne?

Acne is one of the most common skin diseases in the world. Acne commonly occurs on face,neck,chest,back and shoulders in these areas there are oil glands present which are also called 
Sebaceous glands. These glands help protect hair and skin from going dry. When these follicles are clogged due to dead skin and oils it creates an environment for bacteria to rise which causes inflammation and redness.

There are many different reasons that causes acne but the main Acne factors include 
  •  Hormones
  • Medications
  • Diet 
  • Family history
  • Stress 
What to avoid:

The common things you need to avoid during or before acne is

  • Keep a healthy diet
  • Keep skin clean
  • Treat skin delicately 
  • Do not scrub your face with harsh chemicals
  • Stop touching your face
  • Take a good night sleep of almost 8 hours
  • Avoid taking too much stress
  • Wash your pillow case often 
  • Drink 6-8 glass of water daily
  • Follow a good skin care routine

Acne is of different types depending on its condition

  • White heads
White heads and black heads are almost the same the main difference is that white heads have closed pore also known as closed comedones because of which the pores aren’t oxidized which results in white color
  • Black heads
Black heads are clogged pores caused in the same way as white heads but with wide follicles openings thus letting the bacteria oxidized causing black color.
  • Pa pules 
Pa pules are inflammatory acne and occurs when there’s severe inflammation around the wall of pores causing it to breakdown, this type of acne is sensitive to touch and turns pink due to inflammation 
  • Pustules 
Pustules occur due to the same reason as pa pules but these are visible on the skin as a read bump which mostly contains pus with either yellow or white color 
  • Nodules
Nodules are a more scary version of pa pules and pustules occurring due to clogged pores breaking down but this doesn’t remain in the pores only but penetrate deeper in the skin causing  severe acne and redness on the skin
  •  Cyst
The mighty acne occurring deep beneath the skin leaving behind scars is caused due to severe infection in the clogged pores due to bacteria, sebum and oil accumulation leaving huge red or white sensitive bumps over the face which are difficult to be treated at home and need a doctors assistants.
