The look of bride is kept simple and light with not too heavy makeup, small earrings, necklace and a bouquet to complete the look. Red dresses for the bride are mostly used by the people living in the subcontinent as for them red is the color of celebration of love and passion. This color is either worn alone of mixed and matched to add contrast with other colors like golden, green,pink etc. The dress usually comprises of a embroidered dupatta, choli (shirt) and gharara ( skirt). The bride wears matching jewelry of long earrings, necklace, bangles and mostly bindiya ( worn above the head) and nose ring. The fabric used in these dresses is mostly chiffon,net and satin. The bride is given a heavy makeup look that compliments her dress.
