OFFICE SNACKS TO HELP YOU LOOSE WEIGHT

Looking to loose weight this summer but stuck in office eating junk? Not eating and starving yourself until the end of the day to loose weight? Or are you merely confused about what’s right to eat? 

Did you know weather you are loosing weight or gaining it, it’s never OK to skip breakfast always have a good and healthy breakfast and just like that if you starve yourself the whole day the moment you see food you will forget or portions and go crazy which again won’t help you loose weight but add more. Eating the right food at the right time will never make you gain extra inches. So here’s a whole list of things you can eat while you are in office weather you skip lunch or not

LOTUS SEEDS

Lotus seeds have a great health value having little to no calories they are filled with fiber, you can munch these delicious seeds whenever you feel hungry without worrying about gaining weight.

ROASTED CHICKPEAS

Roasted chickpeas have a high source of nutrients, minerals and vitamins, you can either have plain ones or add flavors according to your taste.


APPLE AND ALMONDS

These two ingredients are a great source of instant energy boost, you can either eat them separately or mix them together with peanut and enjoy your healthy and yummy snack.

CARROTS AND CUCUMBERS

Cucumber as we already know helps reduce weight and carrots are a rich source of vitamin A and antioxidants so you can packs these and keep them in your office fridge and later cut them and either have them raw or have them with hummus for extra nutrition.

EGG WHITE OMELETTE

Omelette’s aren’t just something to have in breakfast you can make an omelette using the white part of the egg with your favorite toppings I would prefer adding lots of vegetables and mushrooms, this would be a super filling and healthy snack if you decide to skip lunch.

TRAIL MIX

Easiest snack for office is trail mix, just grab a good brand trail mix or make one yourself and pack it and store it in your office drawer. This mix as it’s filled with all kinds of nuts is very healthy and will help fill you up easily.

DATES

Yet again dates are one of the most easy and ready to eat delicious snack  which is packed full of antioxidants and flavor. Having dates daily is very good for health but having too much dates is not good as they are rich in calories. 

GRANOLA BARS

Granola bars are also a good option for snacking but you need to keep in mind the ingredients you use if you are making it by yourself or buying from the supermarket as they are high in calories, so if consumed in large amounts can be harmful for your body.

LOW FAT UNFLAVORED YOGURT

This is a very healthy option for anyone on a diet a cup of yogurt can keep you refreshed and adds calcium and proteins and helps in digestion too which is a struggle for people who are just sitting on a chair from 9-5, you can add cucumber and carrots to yogurt or add fruits for extra flavor and crunch.

WHOLE GRAIN SANDWICHES

I love a good whole grain sandwich while I m at office, you can either have this in lunch or at tea time depending on the ingredients you use for your sandwich, add ingredients which don’t go bad staying in a box for long or pack separately and add later when you want to eat.

COCONUT WATER

Skip your diet cokes and switch to coconut water, this is full of potassium and is low in calories, drinking this once in a while would not make you gain pounds but add glow to your skin and gives you energy.


GREEN TEA

Green tea is the favorite thing of anyone whose on a diet, this tea is so refreshing and healthy for your skin, have green tea with lemon and ginger and you will see the instant boost of freshness that you need during those tired and lazy office hours.
